On your other point I have to disappoint you. I sincerely doubt that the developers read these threats, as they dont even post the content of their updates (like other games do) on steam. Also I really, really hope they go back on those nerfs but that seems extremely unlikely. They seem to cater to only the top players and not the casual players. It seems they want to limit the maximum rupture that can be done as much as possible. Unfortunately the casual player does no longer see a noticable progress in their character hence they turn to PoE or Diablo4.
Mostly ppl on LB lurk in twitch/discord and share info like farming setups and priority there.
Actually you can run whatever you want, except some broken offhands (like vortex causing significant FPS drop, or arcane apocalypse literally striking everywhere except your target). The question is in "when I became oneshoting rupture X"
I'm running chain lightning, that have owful scaling, but pretty much satisfied with performance (no way I'm going to beat Chowmein xDDD, so why bother?)
