I agree I def got the money worth already and the price is pretty good for what the game is honestly. If you like grinding away and a more simple ARPG then this is a pretty awesome game.
We hear your concerns about the offhand abilities and their effectiveness, and you make a good point about the hit reliability of certain abilities like Dragon Flame and Raining Flames. We're constantly looking to balance gameplay mechanics to make every build viable and fun, and your observations are invaluable in this process.
Regarding the itemization and meta, particularly the stacking strategies you mentioned, we're exploring ways to diversify viable builds and avoid over-reliance on specific tactics. Balancing is an ongoing challenge, and your specific examples give us a clearer direction for future adjustments.
The overpowered nature of certain items, such as the Burning Shield, is on our radar. We aim to ensure a wide variety of viable gear choices to support different play styles and strategies. Your suggestion about limiting certain powerful stats to specific gear pieces is an interesting one, and we'll consider its implications carefully.
We're thrilled that you're excited for the next season and looking forward to seeing you compete on the leaderboard! Your experience with games like PoE and Diablo is incredibly valuable to us, and we're committed to improving Dwarven Realms with help from veteran players like you.
Thanks again for your support and candid feedback. We're eager to make the necessary adjustments to improve the game for everyone. Keep the feedback coming, and see you in the next season!
I sincerely appreciate the fact you as devs are showing your commitment and care to the community by responding to so many peoples opinions and concerns. It's very refreshing and shows that the game is what is important to you guys and not making tons of money off gamers with bs tactics. I really do hope you have great success because of this alone.
I do wish the game had tooltips or somewhere that showed how every stat, offhand, weapons, and weapon specific skills interacted with each other. Like which stats effect which things and which don't. An example would be does attack speed effect spin to win or offhands? If so which ones? Does strength increase attack of off hands and weapons and weapon skills?
Also it seems like putting points into things like dexterity doesn't do much for increasing armor. I was trying to put points into strength/stamina/dexterity to try and be more of a warrior base type so i could have lots of health and armor and good weapon attack, but putting points into dexterity and stamina seem to have very very low returns. I get that we get a lot from our Dwarven Relics and beefing those up are a big part of the game, but then why have ability points if its simply better to grind your relic and work on trying to get high level purple armor that have high stats like 30% increased crit chance and such.
More than likely there is a specific way to play the game I am not aware of yet that makes all this simple and easy because when the new season started I saw people hitting level 20+ rupture while i was still on like level 8. There is basically no info on the internet about the game yet so there are no guides that really help you understand maybe some nuances that help make you stronger faster that make the game much easier than it seems to be while leveling and going to higher ruptures.
I do look forward to the future of Dwarven Realms!
