Armor Stones no longer increasing armor on dwarven fossil?

As the title says, I've got the armor on my dwarven fossil to around +8.8%. Whenever I use the upgrade stones nothing happens. The level of the stone doesn't appear to make a difference either. All other stats continue to increase when stones are used. Any suggestions? Is this a bug?

There's two armor stats on the fossil. One is just Armor, which is flat armor and the other is Armor Bonus, which is the one that gets modified with the armor gems.

I just tried to see if it was working on my end, and it works as it should for me.

Are you perhaps just looking at the wrong stat?

It looks like this is the issue I was having. All of the stones say "Armor" and not "Armor Bonus" and I didn't even recognize that the other was going up. Is there a stone to increase flat armor then? Just curious. Thank you for your response it helped!

I'm not sure. There is a dungeon that offers random rewards and I know you can get gems that give you flat energy regen from there and i think there might be more that are similar, but it's a rather large reward pool and I haven't run it enough to know all the possible rewards.
