Pustulant Prince is way overtuned now
I don't know about the other bosses because I updated before this one, but he's a damage sponge that does ridiculous damage and is nearly impossible to dodge at times. I have three damage upgrades plus the relic that gives damage, and I spent over 10 minutes on this fight and he still didn't die, his speed gets insane. Please at least give an option to revert the latest changes or some kind of accessibility option.

I want to get this game and came to the discussions area to find out about difficulty as I don't like too obtuse skill checks. I think it's a problem with modern soulslike craze that game length mostly consists of retrying bosses and "gitting good" to pass these checks. I was hoping this would be easier than Hollow Knight.

Honestly I thought the difficulty was good for what I personally enjoy. It starts off tough, but then as you get upgrades you start to feel very powerful. Enough people complained though that they just upped the boss difficulty and gave them all health upgrades, which is fine I just wish they had an option to revert the changes or some kind of accessibility option for those of us who didn't want this major difficulty upgrade.

I would have liked to see these upturned bosses in an NG+1 mode, but not in the base game

Or give a difficulty slider and let people decide how much of a challenge they want.
late game bosses were a little too easy before this patch, you could just face roll em with high health and completely ignore their patterns, but they got too many buffs all at once. a few need to be stepped back, especially the multiphase bosses.

I'll make a note in my feedback document about your comments regarding The Pustulant Prince's difficulty level (and also the comments about bosses more generally).

If there are any specific bosses you think have been overtuned since the patch, that would be great to know! It would also be great to know if there are any who you think are good post-patch and don't required any more tuning/balancing.

Hey guys! We are currently still looking into the tuning, and there will be some further adjustments made in the coming days to certain bosses. The Prince will be one of them.

You guys acted honestly based on feedback, so I know a lot of people were complaining about too easy bosses before. I think maybe accessibility options might be good just so people can adjust the difficulty to their needs. You are some of the best devs, thank you so much!
