Is there a way to give enough to the fountain and the big guy at the bazaar?

I gave 1 to each so far, am I locked from being able to do either one?

I believe one of the recent patches added an extra flesh into the game in order to prevent locking out.

I rage quit the game, can't beat big gorilla like boss or the liquid one after the water chase, it's frustrating there's no boss hp bars. I'm fed up exploring the same maps over and over again for little to no gain.
