Does the combat improve?
Just started playing, and it doesn't feel... right. The movement is strange, as jumping increases your movement speed immensely so it makes no sense to walk anywhere, but rather just keep jumping, and the combat just feels plain. I don't know, is it just me having higher expectations of a HK clone or what? I do enjoy the game, I'm just curious if things improve later on with weapons or upgrades and stuff. Thanks.

Edit: I've also noticed the loot dropped from enemies takes ages for the magnetic effect to kick in. You can actually outrun the effect and lose potential loot because of how slow the effect is. Again, not a huge deal but also makes it's really annoying having to sit and wait for loot to catch up. Okay, I'm done complaining. It really is a great game minus those few gripes.

Movement is slightly worse than HK, but you'll get used to it after a while, and probably start to enjoy it like I did

The game has almost every abilities you can dream of in a HK-like, makes for very satisfying traversals later on

Combat only gets easier after The Council. Sorry buddy.

I even launched the game to check it.

If that's "immensely" I don't even know what to say :) I didn't even notice this until your post.

There are a ton of areas you can reach with just doing well placed jumps to get plenty of speed and making longer gaps that you shouldn't be able to. Just seems odd, no? I mean, I'm all for it since I enjoy moving faster.

You're right. I'm finding myself getting used to it and being more comfortable with it now. Good call.

Glad we're on the same page

Combat is also slightly worse than HK, hitboxes are a bit rougher, game is not as responsive as HK, but it still feels VERY GOOD to hack n slash Foes and Bosses, I've been playing the game for 33 hours with almost 2 100% playthroughs and I'm still not sated with the game :D
