PS5 Controller issues
The menu is unusable, it seems to confuse square and triangle with each other. If I spam the attack button with hp missing my character keeps trying to use the crystal for like half a second. I tried it with the default config on steam and my own but it doesn't work.

I'll try mapping the controls to keyboard, hopefully that fixes it.

Apologies if this is a steam thing, I don't really know how it works with the different layouts since this seems to be Xbox controller native. Just wanted to bring some light on it in case it is something the devs could fix, or I'm doing something wrong and someone could tell me.

Thank you so much for sharing this with us!

I'll flag this issue to our QA team to look into.

I wanted to ask though, how are you using the PS5 controller? At the moment, the final game only supports Xbox controllers or Dualsense controllers that are connected via USB, not Dualsense controllers connected wirelessly via Bluetooth, which might be what is causing the issue.

Outside of menus, my PS5 controller seems to work (no switching square and triangle like that other person said). But in menus, left and down don't work. I can only go up and right. Since most menus cycle, it hasn't mattered much, but it's still weird.

This happens both with PS5 controller through USB and through Bluetooth. Happens both with native PS5 input and when Steam tries to read it as an XBox controller.

This is not good, and I'm really sorry you're experiencing this issues. I've added all of the details you've provided to our bug report sheet for QA to look into and we'll look into fixing this, since it seems there are a few issues tied to the PS5 controller.

A bit more information, it's kind of all over the place. It only happens in some menus but not others. And sometimes the analog stick works, but the D-pad does not.

Main menu (Awaken, Settings, etc): Analog works, D-pad does not
Pause menu (Resume, Settings, etc): Analog works, D-pad does not
Settings menu: Neither work
Map, Relic, Souls, Inventory: Analog works, D-pad does not
Compendium: Neither work
NPC dialog choices: Analog works, D-pad does not

I tried it wireless and wired, I haven't fought anything in wired mode so the issue I was having with the button inputs mixing could have been tied to that. I ended up just plugging in my xbox controller and have had no issues (aside from hitting pause twice doesn't unpause the game, but B does. Don't know if thats an issue, certainly not a big one if so but its kinda weird.)
I see Squareandrare already went over the menu issues in much more detail, thanks for looking over everything.

That's so weird, so far I don't think I've had any issues with my ps5 controller.
