Game Won't Launch?

I just purchased this game. Whenever I try to launch it, steam says it's launching (with the little pop-up as normal) and then it immediately stops and syncs. The game never starts, I never get a window for it or an error message. There were only vague solutions posted around so I'm not sure what to do. I'm running Windows 10 64-bit.

Any help/advice? Been looking forward to playing this game.

Have you verified you game files with steam to check it downloaded ok? I'm playing on windows 10 64-bit with no problems, so not the OS.

The game requires Visual C++ Redistributable Packages for Visual Studio 2013, which is not installed automatically for some reason. Install both 32- and 64-bit on a 64-bit OS.
