When I boot the game back up, all the maturity gathers at once and I can get a parcel. Its a very annoying bug, but it seems to be working and updating after every reboot
Hope this helps!
I have added this to my public bug tracker: https://trello.com/c/BEPeW8k4/33-gourdlets-stop-maturing
I'll keep checking this thread in case anyone else wants to add any more context / clues!
I ran my main game that was at 4 hours with 53 Gourdlets and only 6 parcels unlocked, it was taking almost 3 minutes to get a thin line started on maturity at this point per my Gourdlets. I made 2 new games to start clean with 2 Gourdlets and 20 Gourdlets respectively. I used same 3x3 islands per Gourdlet with a bonfire in the middle to mitigate travel as well. It started off well with only 2 uses of the bonfires per Gourdlet to get a flower.

I had a bunch of flowers ready to claim and just checked that the total flowers required for parcel was the same no matter how many Gourdlets you had and was the same through to 5 parcels.
So looking at having 2 Gourdlets vs 20 Gourdlets from the start all on separate 3x3 grids to minimize traveling around time. There's a huge jump increase of 6 minutes required to complete the first parcel with 20 Gourdlets and 28 minutes more to get the 2nd one. Seeing how it's 31 minutes to get it and it's only 27 minutes to get the 6th parcel with 2 Gourdlets, it definitely doesn't pay to have a ton of Gourdlets at all. So you can see how it would look bugged at any significant amount of Gourdlets, plus it takes longer the more they have to walk around to object/tasks.
This morning I started playing with the intention of just having it run all day to see how long it took to get my next parcel. When I first loaded into the game, I automatically got one little sliver. My game then crashed (so I couldn't save) - I started it up again thinking I would quickly get another sliver, but 10+ minutes passed and there was still no progress, so I am not sure how the maturity rates work.
