Immediate refund. I just wanted to play the oregon trail maybe with some updated graphics.
Maybe its minor changes, but i'm not willing to take the chance.
Is your brain really so soft that making historically accurate alterations offends you
That´s not what the message says, it just says it has tried to represent the people of the first nations on a more realistic light, which fits for a series that has always being sold as historical and educational yet has ignored a big portion of American history. Only thing this means is that there are indian characters and they are varied, both those who stick to their traditions and those who have blended better with the incoming migrants from Europe, and there´s one quest on the DLCs about the real historical treaty among tribes. Again, it´s just a game sold as historical being historical, THE HORROR!!
If historical accuracy "triggers" you, then by all means, do not play this game, or any for that matter, since even fictional games do take inspiration from actual historical events or periods.
Yish, people this days will get ways to get offended by just about anything. Cool way to live your life, lmao.
Instead, I've got a preset selection of consumables I can pick up, of all things having knives being locked behind a side story, and a selection of people so clueless and careless that despite not being allowed to go hunting (all the question spots hide what's present and no person you can talk to can reveal what path leads to what kind of encounter: camp, fishing spot, hunting spot, etc.) the rifle [which you automatically just have] is improperly stowed and discharges injuring a member of the group.
As just a game it may be alright, but as a learning implement it is so ridiculously subpar that i think it's sad.
Personally, its a game everyone should have just because it is fun and a game that doesn't require much out of the player besides making general decisions.
Yes, this plays the same as the original but has a lot of extras and far better graphics than the original game.
