no save at all

played this game for 9 hours now on and off-- nothing saves and all of thje saved games have 0h, 0m on them, got halfway across california-- still no progess anywhere, if anyone can help-- thanks

there no save abilty in this game ? I was just going hit up game and then quit and play some more latter. ?

but maybe not if i cant save game, I know orginal game had no save feature but thats silly not have a iron man save at least.

There is a save in-game. It has an auto-save feature, along with three profiles. I believe the OP is probably having their own separate issue (I'm assuming it might be a space issue, since the only time I couldn't save in a game was when my drive didn't have enough space to make a save).

.-- yes i understand that but the other day I was 38 percent into California trail, when i left game and went back in the 38 percent was gone-- its not remembering games-- thats my issue

heres another example-- i make it to California one day and unlock prospector and all the stuff-- the next day its says I am 75% to California

I'm having this issue as well. I've had the game and played with no issues for about a month now, but yesterday it just stopped saving any progress. I even started a new save and deleted my original but when I closed and went back the original was there and my new save wasnt... Not sure whats going on or how to fix it.

I've had the same issue for just the last few days. It all of the sudden quit saving/updating the saves and everytime I exit or go to load game, it keeps reverting to the same date/save regardless of deleting it, etc. My best guess is I was in settings messing around on Steam and enabled something to do with cloud saving around the time the problems began. I've since disabled it, but it still keeps going back to those same 2 save files without updating or creating new ones. I'm wondering if it is just loading the old or cloud save. I've tried to find the save files manually to delete them since the delete function hasn't worked either to no avail.

I finally got a response from Gameloft so I'm going to post what they sent me. The second option fixed it for me so maybe it can help you all too!

2. If the first method doesn't work, try to delete the 6002 folder (C:\ProgramData\Epic\Gameloft) and run the game again to check whether saves can be made after making some in-game progress

They gave me the same response. Problem is, I don't have that particular Epic or Gameloft folder as it was installed via Steam. There is also no 6002 folder anywhere on the PC.

Found it... for some reason the files and folder was hidden. I copied the address from above and pasted it into explorer and it magically appeared. When I backed out, it wasn't visible in the folders.

I have plenty of room but it keeps going back to an old game if I exit to desktop. This week I finished the old game, again, saved, stopped game, went in and it was the 'new' game. Played 2 episodes of Chisolm trail, doing that over and over to be sure it was saving and it was. Until I exit to desktop. Now that bleeping old game is there again! Ready to give up.

Update-- they must of fixed something with the updates-- its saving everything now
