its a new story within the Alien Shooter universe, not rehash of the AS 2 :)
It would be cool to create AS 3, but unfortunately, right now we don't have enough resources to make it the way we - and our players - would like to see it.
Why are all your latest games ports from mobile ? Alien Shooter 2 - Reloaded was the best! It was fair in difficulty and had inventory and all that. Also voice acting and a decent story.
AS2 - New Era was a step in the right direction - I enjoy the more open levels! But the lack of inventory or weapon variation is really a step back.
A lot of devs find themselves in this position, but luckily due to the power of the internet, you can still fund a big project without a publisher. Start a kickstarter.
I and tons of other fans will fund a high quality proper Alien shooter 3. No questions asked.
My only request would be to make it akin to very original Alien Shooter 2, not reloaded, not legends, not this - I think you can tell from the steam reviews, we prefer the original, which I have no idea why you still haven't put on steam. You truly did it best the first time around.
(PS: Figure out the licensing or whatever issue it has and put it on steam, all it needs is a patch to make it widescreen, no other changes and it will sell great im sure)
Just set a date for it to start in say ~6 months in advance, so you can get all the oldschool fans time to become aware of it ( I sometimes only check in on you guys once or twice a year). Post it on your website/facebook/here/everywhere.
And yea ask for a lot, maybe $250k , you'll get it. And make us the awesome sequel we have all been waiting for 15+ years now :)
But basically every advanced feature is missing from new releases.
You guys have to go back to your roots, to what made you popular in the first place. We don't want generic isometric shooters, we want isometric shooters with old-school RPG mechanics like Alien Shooter 2, with 50 weapon types or more, heaps of player models due to armor types, etc.
Alien Shooter 3 Please!
The first time I saw the Demo of Alien Shooter 1, I was blown!
The music and rush was superb! Not the to be compared with the graphics of today's game that is going towards photorealism, of course, they are different game as this is in isometric view, so best comparison would be Diablo games or world of warcraft.
Story was a bit lacking but not that bad to ruin the fun, because the fun comes from playing it not from story.
