Mit welchem Plot anfangen und welcher Char

Nun, es ist so weit, nach dem ich X3TC angefangen und durchgesuchtet habe, musste ich mir einfach AP kaufen.
Ich fand den Händler mit seinen 2 Schiffen immer super für den Anfang, nun gibt es aber zB den Terraner und Argonen (Kriegs Plots), die sehr schnell an recht gute Schiffe kommen, (ich möchte erst einmal gerne Handeln), also einen von den beiden nehmen und Schiffe verkaufen, was empfehlt ihr?

Well, it is so far, after I started X3TC and played it many hours, I just had to buy me AP.
I found the Dealer with his two Ships always great to start with, but now there are the Terran and Argon starting Plots(War plots), which are very fast to become very good Ships, (I would like to play the Game by Trading and Build a Fleet of Ships and some Factorys), should I play one of these plots and sell the ships, what do you recommend?

There also are the Teladi and Paranid starts which offer missions providing special ships as a reward (A prototype M3 for the Teladi one, a Hyperion M6 for the Paranid one), but you need to do a partly playthrough getting some reputation with these factions to be able to use the specialized starts.

Still, you can play successfully with any start scenario, for example I chose Savage Split, for no special reason.

I would do the humble merchant start. Your fight rank starts at 0 so you can avoid conflict and just trade away gathering money and ships. Thought I'm not sure how things are different in X3AP, as this is what I did in X3TC. Which I'd recomment on start with anyway.

Played the Argon Dealer for some hours.
Think its ok. But the Pirates are not so friendly in AP.
They give me Fire from the longest Range, i like it :)
The Teladi and Paranide starts you say, ok will test them when i looked around a little bit in AP.

They are called "Tormented Teladi" and "Poisoned Paranid".
Otherwise I recommend starting with the faction whose ships you like best, which p.ex. is the Split for me.

With the Tormented Teladi and Poised Paranid start you have to earn a lot of $$$ very fast in order to get your great ships from them. Not recommended for someone who doesn't know how to make profittsss quickly in game.

I would check out the exosoft forums also... and there are extensive German areas there which should greatly help you in getting better acclimated with the game... jah! Sehr gut.
