I didn't explain properly... what I did was remapped a keyboard key to generate the access macro - it's been so long since I played on this machine I have forgotten the mapping I used :)
but any key that you have not remapped in X3 will do. You can then add the key with the macro to one of the X3 menus.
It looks like your bindings all need sorted. Usually I don't bother unless I am playing a game a lot.
A good way to see what bindings are operating is to note the blue character on the menu. Each menu can be accessed by pressing the key with the number shown... so you can program in a sequence of keys to generate the sub menu you are looking for.
Once you create a key with the right macro you can tell X3 to use one of the spare bindings to call it up
Eg you make a macro in your keyboard for a subn menu sequence and assign it to a key you don't use. Like say Alt-Ctrl-S
Then you bind a spare X3 key to Alt-Ctrl-S
So in the end you only need press one key. Just pick one you know you won't have remapped already in X3.
