Any working cockpit mods for X3 AP? And how to install them?

Hey, i spent most of last night searching for a X3 AP cockpit mod, as i feel it adds more depth to the game, after downloading atleast 3 and having none of them work i tried the method of making a Mod folder within the X3 steam folder( Worked when I installed a cockpit mod for x3tc) and the directory became corrupt and i had to redownload the entire X3TC/AP games again.
Can anyone link me to a working Cockpit mod, and how to install it, thanks

Have you searched the Egosoft forums? They are usually very helpful and good when you want to MOD X3AP. Though I'd not recommend cockpit mods, as they tend to clutter up your screen with unneeded things. The last thing you need is half your screen taken up with useless interior graphics when the game takes place out in space where you need to see what's going on and all around you.

There are several cockpit packs for XRM if you don't mind changing your game that much. It's cluttered, but cool-looking. All sorts of little blinky things and data displayers. There's a thread on the Egosoft forums related to its downloading and installation; I ended up having to make a duplicate modded game directory and uninstalling/reinstalling the game and mod two or three times before I got it working.

try the egosoft forum there a full cockpit mod for TC and AP not the best but better then nothing! :D

You have to put your mod folder inside the addon folder in the TC directory for AP mods. I use the PSC01 cockpit but I had to edit the mod as the washed out blue tint on the glass wore on me after a while. You can find it in the Egosoft mods forum.
