X3 Litcube's Universe - Money Making
Hey guys, I recently just jumped back in X3AP and I'm having HUGE problems with making credits in Litcube's Mod.

I have a fairly large microchip complex (30), and a Mass Driver Forge (30) with a station agent after some hours collecting ships that bailed. The problem is, I'm getting tired with this method. I want to be station-building oriented in terms of making credits, but I have no idea what stations I should build... Everything in Litcube's universe is 10x as expensive and the game is pretty slow to me compared to vanilla.

The stock exchange is not an option, as it isn't no where near as exploitable as vanilla (it only shows company listings, NOT commodity shares). If anyone here is a pro with hundreds of hours on this game I could use some advice, or a point in the right direction.

Combat is not an option for me atm. I only own an Albion Pride as a player ship. Also, I don't like getting my combat rank up as Pirate destroyer invasions become more frequent (disrupting trade for my UTs).

If you guys could be as detailed as possible I would greatly appreciate it.
Thanks!

What stations do i build in order to get that many credits for such a massive complex such as that? You gave me a end game station to work for, and I thank you a lot for that. What did you build like mid-game.
(You assigned a station agent for that right?)

Also sure, I'd like to see your save.

You don't have to worry about losing UT's ATM i have 35 leaving SETA on overnight not one even got damaged. as for SCH microchips, 1MJ, 5MJ shields, massdrivers are all very rarely have more than 5% of their stock before someone buys it.

Two dumbest things people do in this game:

1. Leave SETA on overnight. This you dont do in LU because OCV and Phenon will expend much quicker. It kills you fight rep also.
2. Run a fleet of UT's. UTs are wothless. Yes they will make you some credits but lets see them make you 120 Million in 20 minutes. As a matter of fact, anybody that wants to argue this point I invite you to run UT for a day and then pull his trade report. Good luck.

in my game i disabled the OCV till i can build some M2+. And litcube the creator himself recommends having at least 50 UT. Besides we are only talking the mid game of course end game you want SCH 400 profit making stations.

Yah I have 46 UT's at the moment. But really not one of them got damaged? I always get one killed occasionally because they fly through pirate sectors (Litcube's pathfinding isn't correct for me). I'm getting to the point where my money is now primarily funded by stations. I'm kind of glad because I hate ordering and outfitting new ships because I don't have a dock yet.

may can I ask you what ships you did buy? TPs or even an missile frigate? And what did you board? Rented Station Transport ships?

I have some problems doing that, because the AI ships always disturb me.

To add on to zanosg, the RNG chance of marines dying or living is calculated right after they board.

Which is why zanosg recommends you to save before you launch or to save right before the marines reach the hull. You will get the same exact result if you save after each deck clear. Which means that if marines some marines die after deck 2, and you reload to deck 1, deck 2 will always kill off some marines.
