Report a translation problem
On the egosoft forum Paul Wheeler who did make the mod, did say about that problem:
"The only thing that causes mammoths everywhere is a conflicting tships. Possible reasons are:
1 - youre not deleting the bounce cat/dat after generating your wall file.
2 - you are not starting a new game after removing the bounce cat/dat.
3 - your cat/dats are not consecutively numbered.
4 - you have another mod which has a tships in it.
Whatever the cause, the game cannot see the XRM tships. "
Hope this helps.

Greetzzzz
I do not know, just check when you load the save game if you see all these mammoths.
But good you did solve the problem.
I could use explaination of #1 "bounce cat/dat".
1. I didn't delete everything in my addon folder. I deleted the folders mov, scripts, t, types, and director. I figured anything else in there should be fine.
2. I went through all my cat/dat files and deleted the ones that were not the original vanilla files.
3. I went in to the games steam properties and did an integrity check to get all the original files reinstalled.
4. Now, I began the process of reinstallation of XRM. I read and reread the installation process and addendae below that for additional Mods with regards to compatibility. I would like to note two major things I did that I think were both causing issues.
4.1 MAKE SURE YOU HAVE THE LATEST HULL PACKS!!! To elaborate, I have installed XRM before. Thus, I have some old files that I ignorantly thought would be OK. They are most likely not! Be sure to download the latest files even if you think your files look the same.
4.2 If you use MARS like I do, make sure you DO NOT use the cat/dat files from MARS for the repair drones. They are already included in XRM. XRM provides a link further down for a download of MARS with just the bare essentials you need to run it on XRM. There is also an additional file earlier on in the installation reading that you need to run MARS in case you missed it.
5. I installed complex cleaner. Note, this must be installed with the cat/dat loaded BEFORE XRM.
6. I installed various other mods that have no cat/dat.
I hope this helps others who encounter this problem in the future. Make you you are awake, patient, and meticulous in your methods before attempting installation. READ the installation document over, then read it again.
The reason is putting MARS's Dat/Cat files behind of XRM's one.
Therefore, you should put these files earlier than XRM's.
