How do I do a fresh install without adding the bonus pack?

So I was wanting to try some of the more serious mods like Litcube's Universe. I've read you need a clean install without the bonus pack but I'm afraid to start a fresh download cause it might automatically add the bonus pack. It takes me about 12 hours or so to download the game. AT&T internet out in the country kinda sux.

As far as I know, a fresh install includes vanilla files only. The Bonus Pack has to be downloaded and installed manually/separately by you.

Are you using a steam, GOG, or a separate PC install?

Sorry didn't see your edit. I'm using Steam. Bought it on Steam when it was on sale. Just have AP installed but not TC. I have both games on Steam but I only have AP downloaded and haven't tried playing TC yet.

I thought AP was DLC for TC but I really don't know.

I read I needed to make a seperate copy of the game in a different directory I think. Not sure how to do that. I only have one SSD drive. No extra hard drive.

Well I'm lost. I went through hell just to download the no steam exe.
Trying to unzip it and it won't let me.

I get the code execution cannot proceed because IMGDLL.dll was not found. Reinstalling the program may fix this problem. Same for zlib1.dll and libxml2.dll

Nevermind, I was double clicking instead of extracting...

So I don't like the though of EGOSOFT having my Steam account info...

any way to change that or should I change my password or is it just mandatory for them to have my info?

They want my account lnformation. Login name and password.

So I assume they would have access to my games and some jerk could delete my games if they wanted to?
