I would try to get my hands on a quick TP and jumpdrive (even if you have to sell your trading ship) and drive around doing taxi missions and if you are lucky you can get some "I need a ship" missions that can simply do themselves. Just remember to drop a satellite at shipyards or park a cheap scout there. Remember to tune the engine before letting it auto to the destination. And remember, if you are Terran, the Asteroid Belt and Jupiter are warzones, weak ships can't cross them easily.
Also having some races rep up seems to help bring the others up, it at least seems to work that way for pirates, which kinda makes sense. (Low rep with other races means little gain in pirate rep per mission, higher rep with other factions seems to boost how much rep you earn per pirate-mission.)
OP said 'without combat', so a police license would have no use if you do not use it :)
By the time a race pays you 10million for a transport mission you already have your rep pretty high with that race. Also in AP the Angel is not 'that' fast for a TP ... it is literally half-way down the list when sorted for speed on a TP.
Have to agree with Red, the Angel isn't that fast. Real fast is the Split Ocelot or the Terran Mani. These are the 2 races that are high speed. Boron is more high tech shields and exotic crippling weapons, Split is fast firepower, Taeladi are cargo, toughness and flexibility while Terran is all round high performance but limited flexibility.
I find that the light bulb missions are the ones that need the TP while the credit symbol (freight) ones are the ones that treat the people as cargo. Still check both though since the "ship delivery" light bulb missions are a good source of credits and the credit symbol freight runs are the standard cargo delivery ones.
Light bulb taxi missions can be either. Personnel transport missions are trade mission only and require multiple passengers to be shipped.
Ship delivery missions are fine assuming the ship can be sourced within 3 sectors while the cargo delivery missions can sometimes demand 5+ TS+ ships full of hard to obtain cargo to be delivered within 15 mins.
