X3 AP Generic missions lag
Has this thing been fixed? If not, can someone explain me on how to disable them completely? I found a halfased explanation on the forums but I didn't understand what to do. It involves using the X3 Editor 2 program.
Thanks in advance.

Well your post does not describe either the problem nor that halfassed solution. It will be dificult to give any insight if you dont describe it in detail. My mind reading bulb is being fixed atm.

Ah sorry, I thought people know about what I talk since this problem has been around since terran conflict has been released.
Basically everytime an escort or taxi mission is generated in a system, some of the games' scripts don't work accordingly when they have to delete or refresh the older missions which leads over time to a massive clutter up which creates such a lag that the game becomes generally unplayable after 3 days or so.

Never suffered it Sorry. I've played since 2004. Strange.
However a tent to build and never mission that much.

EDIT: maybe it's software (av) running in the background not allowing change in the X3 folder buging out the game?

Ohhh you mean Mission clutter from no-properly cancelled scripts, yeh yourll need to make sure you "Abort" missions before you time-out on them if your not in the sector the mission is "Active" in otherwise itll fail to clear them, (*Normally caused by Patrol X Sectors missions, and protect X station missions were the last target ships have been killed by collision with a NPC ship and the mission ends, *).

Not well known but every 24 hours of REAL LIFE time, the Galaxy Director script does check for, and correct these issues though doesnt help with the lag problems in the mean time, If your not playing a Vanilla game you can just delete x offending station, and eventually a Fixed/working version will respawn in the same place... believe thats a 3, 6, 9 and 12 hour real life time respawn check.
