does anyone know how to get the cheat script to work?

I downloaded cycrows plugin manager and everything says enabled, I put in Thereshallbewings, but no cheat comands pop up.

I kinda wanted a boost in the game as I started over and lost all my saves and hard work, not in the mood to start from scratch.

I wonder if it is because they updated the game recently and made the scripts obsolete??

Just use cheat engine to look for your cash amount, sell/buy something so it changes, research for the new value, repeat until you ccan see only a couple memory addresses left, some will be merely for "Displaying" the amount, changing one of them will change your ingold amount, test the handful to find which one, you wont break anything unless your trying to dock while changing the amounts (* do in deep space, or in a station docked itself, but you WILL need to MANUALLY save the game, then exit and reload the save manually NOT the autosave after yourve edited the value.

I see no cheat engine, I know it suppose to be there under the trade command.

When you change your name to Thereshallbewings it should still show your original name if you typed it in right. Then you need to save and restart the game. You should see the cheat option in the command console. Otherwise see if cheat menu shows up under controls and bind a key to it.

I checked and I see no cheat for binding a key, and there was a stall when I typed Thereshallbewings for 1sec and the name never changed. I am using cycrows cheat thing with the plugin manager.

Do I just download this engine?

Ok so the mod does need to be updated. The ingame script editor will still work though, and the galaxy editor as well. All you need to do is press shift+C and hit S. You can also find it under Pilot/Advanced/Global Commands

Here [www.egosoft.com] is some help cause I dont know how to script.

BTW the cheatengine is a hex editor. Yes all you do is download it. You might wanna find a how to vid though.

thanks, but I am not going to cheat now, going after achivements. But maybe you can help me with something else, is there a way to fill up your purchase quickly? like playing stock exchange to fill the amount to buy or sell instantly?
