Mouse jumping/sensitivity Windows 10 fix

I recently bought Sins of a Solar Empire: Trinity, and was having a problem with the mouse being too sensitive and jumping around in the menu to where I couldn't reliably click on any option, it would jump past any button when I got near it. I did some digging and found people suggesting to disable Pointer Trails as well as Pointer Shadows. I already had those off, but on a hunch I disabled the "Enhance pointer precision" and then it behaved normally afterwards. This setting in Windows 10 is found in Control Panel > Mouse > Pointer Options and under the Motion section.
I just wanted to get this out there as I couldn't find this documented anywhere yet.

not needed to do it myself, just went in and alter the screen type and size to match my default windows one, and also went into the folder and ran as a win7 game as admin, workes flawlessly in the latest creators windows update

file you need to alter / edit is

C:\Users\(your username here)\AppData\Local\Ironclad Games\Sins of a Solar Empire\Setting

and alter both

VideoFullScreenWidth 1920
VideoFullScreenHeight 1080
VideoWindowedWidth 1920
VideoWindowedHeight 1080

to your own desktop settings etc, then save

then reload game, now mouse should be fine, worked for me
