Frame generation and vsync

Is there a way to get vsync to work properly with frame gen?

I mean like Cyberpunk 2077 i can enable frame gen and use vsync from the nvidia control panel to get a stable 116 fps.

Portal RTX either has input lag with vsync + frame gen, and if i go without vsync and lock to 120 manually using a fps cap with frame gen i get constant screen tearing, any way to fix?

Turn off Vsync and limit your FPS cap to 5 FPS below your monitor's maximum refresh rate to avoid tearing. 115 FPS for a 120 hz monitor for example. You DO NOT want to be using VSYNC. You should NEVER use VSYNC in any game for any reason. Just use a frame rate cap and nothing else.
