As shown in video, don't upgrade to these drivers if you want to play this game, or just disable volumetric lighting.

You can also update rtx remix using the latest from here https://github.com/NVIDIAGameWorks/rtx-remix/releases replace the ones inside the bin folder of portal.

Thank you, I was just wanting to do a new playthrough and thought i would try the RTX version, and then the moment i get in i had the issues in the vid.

This fixed it right away.

I thought I had an issue with my GPU (Since I was playing Portal RTX on the RTX 4090 laptop with no issues before but on the desktop 5090 I was seeing this exact issue above in the video) or there was an issue with the drivers since disabling volumetric lighting fixed the issue but I still wondered what was the cause of it.

I'm having exactly the same issue after switching to 5070 Ti eh... On top of that Frame Generation is causing EXTREME screen tearing.

You're a legend, sorted that right out. Would be good for someone to update Portal RTX officially with this.
