[Admitted by FG] Tim Morten strikes again... with fake reviews.

Not long ago the recent reviews turned mostly negative.
FG decided to act. With their staff positive reviews.

This is a clear Steam policy violation (and you can report it, yes).

After being caught, they changed their names, but the Steam remembers.

After being caught changing names, they decided to admit it and apologize.

Which doesn't look like an apology, they tried to make it look like it was a personal initiative of some employees.
It doesn't make much sense. This was a planned action, organized by higher-ups.
1. Reviews were made at the same time.
2. Reviewers were changed at the same time.
3. Alt accounts of the same person.
4. Tim Morten was personally involved.

I also think it would be honest of them to:
1. Reveal the exact number of employee reviews.
2. Delete all the employee reviews.
3. Tim should comment on it personally.

We all remember their Kickstarter editing, fantasy company evaluations, and countless cases of deleting and censoring their faults.
Even that funny case, when Tim admired his game on Reddit, pretending to be someone else makes so much sense now. (but he forgot to log out ;D). I thought it was a trolling or a joke. Not anymore.

It's time for FG to become responsible for their actions.
Another PR talk won't do.
This behavior must not be tolerated. If you lie to your player base, you will face the consequences.

I found the review by the new art director. Hotwire a.k.a Allen Dilling. I can understand getting mates to put in a good review but for the devs themselves to do so and then adding a disclaimer when caught out is so weird. FG is moving sus af.

Having a blast, and so pumped the RTS genre is alive and well! Very cool factions with a new spin on things and the new updates are looking promising. 1v1 and co-op have a lot of depth and a fun time with buddies. Can't wait for the final release!

I've very recently been hired as the art director on this cool project and while I followed it from day one (having many friends and ex-coworkers developing it), now that I'm on the team I'm even more excited about the potential for this game to really bring something that both hardcore RTS players and just geeky players that love good games are going to embrace!
We'll be doing art updates every 3-4 weeks to show the progress to the revamped units, factions, fx, narrative, etc. Tune in! :)

Disgusting, shady, misleading corporate practice by Frost Giant. This is a flagarant and willful breach of Steams Terms of Usage for developpers, and should be sanctioned. This was premeditated and willful.

How to improve review rate?
F**king simple.
Just make Stormgate more fun than Starcraft instead of doing these nonsense.
Or are they thinking that it only matters how they think about the game and player thoughts don't matters at all.

These devs are atrocious. They limit your ability to criticize the game on discord as well. I left that 💩hole after i simply stated my absolutely sincere and professional critiques of the game in its then-current state. Now, I still follow this game weekly in the hopes that there are some kind of meaningful changes; which I am sad to say, have not happened since launch just a few months ago.

It was odd to see Mostly Negative reviews turn to mixed so quickly. I was thinking, well maybe within the past 30 days there had been a patch or something. This explains things much clearly, and with my experience concerning the devs in the past; I can say this is not at all abnormal behavior for them.

Shame on you FG. The game is garbage, you know it, the players know it, the supporters know it. Cut tail and run, wipe the slate clean and start again with a new vision. It is your best option at this point; you're pulling ~100 daily players on a free to play game.
