and in case anyone is wondering .. i myself am not gay... not that there is anything wrong with that!
There's something every normal person possesses, and it's called empathy. A crazy thing: it allows you to put yourself in the other person's shoes, without being the other person! The thing that lets you put yourself in Morgan Freeman's shoes in Shawshank Redemption, even if you're not black!
You don't have to be a woman to understand Sarah Connor's motivations... Just a functional brain and empathy.
And anyone with an empathetic brain is capable of putting themselves in the other person's shoes, regardless of their color or sexual preference. Yes, EVERYONE is capable of doing this, as long as they have empathy.
And then there are the narcissists, the ones who just don't have empathy. It's impossible for them to get under the skin of a character; their alter ego has to be there in the work. It's impossible to put themself in the other person's shoes.
We know this from studies that indicate an extremely large proportion of narcissists in this “community”, but ultimately your message is yet another admission of this fact.
If a game is made for narcissists, then it's fundamentally wrong.
And you know, given FG's policy, they'd be able to listen to you, too bad for them, it'll be their problem if they get the same fate as Concord. Because at least for the time being, they're a bit ahead of this game.
It's a problem that's hard to solve, because FG has had both feedbacks : the game is too slow, and the game is too fast... Obviously from two different types of player (diamond and bronze), but it's bound to be impossible to please everyone. We'll see, but I guess they've already made up their minds about the pace of the game.
You forgot helicarrier or however you type that flying units name, lets call it Stormgate version of Battle cruiser, it has ability to send out bombers or hoplites with jump, or vulcans with jet-packs....

No, I don't think I need a refresher on the games I've spent multiple thousands of hours playing each of. I remember exactly how they were.
We probably don't want to be designing games based on what worked in 1998 and 2002, either. We should be iterating on design and take the next leap forward.
I just opened these links and it's from one youtube channel, all the videos has been uploaded recently and all the videos are not public so I assume it's your videos. Did you really just recorded everything just for this one post with the gameplay around 30 minutes each video? Thats... Impressive.
TOPIC: Yeah, the factions in Stormgate feels a bit soulless, the graphics is meh, music is easily forgotten and the gameplay is a bit too slow.
Its a strange think I guess. I dont think you agree what these games is something progressive for genre:

This one could but its have much worse players online count despite half-year since release:

May be the problem is wanting a RTS which will be mega-hit like Baldur's Gate 3 become and which will be much better than Warcraft III/Starcraft II with super original style design and graphics and a lot of content on day 0 release? I think its a naive dream.
I did it for feedback section topic about in-game music which have specific problems in my opinion - incorrected balance between sound in the background and memorising at the same time. Don't sure how to describe it correctly.
