Space Marine with an Axe
The most basic unit of the Vanguard is the Lancer. It's basically a Space Marine with an axe. XD A SPACE MARINE WITH AN AXE. hahaha That's, like, entertaining, but not in the way you intended. hahaha

its a cool unit and can some intersitng things. No problem with that. I found a buggy with a flamethrower in a hightech universe much more stupid.

you prob never see a space marine to compare with the lancer lmao

It's a PRIMITIVE mix of a Space Marine (SC2) and a Grunt (WC3). There is no interesting gameplay potential, except for surrounds. The whole idea, of a FUTURISTIC soldier with an AXE is idiotic. Don't you see that, that you are treated, like ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, who will not even notice that?

I'm not very keen on this game's characters but there are power axes in 40k bro.
And when the last actual 40k RTS released it has jumping termimator armour backflips :steamfacepalm:
The creativity of big budget RTS is shocking these days

Oh no. Google Angron, Kharn, Feirros, Master of Executions, World Eater berserkers, Horus Heresy praetor.
And then google this little fellow.

Would like to see Angron fighting this little Lancer. :D

I question, what would the Thread opener think about Assault Marines? Space marines with chainsaw swords and Jump packs. His brain would melt :D

Now spam medtechs with them and exos and you have a group of units that is basically invincible and breaks the game in half for everyone and ruins every match.

SC2 removed medic infantry units from it's multiplayer because they were cracked af, and yet Stormgate here hasn't learnt a damn thing from what 'should' be its predecessor

SC2 introduced the Medivac, which being a transport air unit and a healer, was even more OP than the Medics could have ever been.

In fact, it enable the MMM playstyle, which could even raid mineral lines due to tehir healer unit also being able to drop them from the air.

No, Medivacs were not more op than medics, mainly because it required starports instead of barracks and then upgrades on top of that to be effective healers.

Medics were removed because it was easy to spam them, and then ground forces would basically never die. Stormgate's medic equal is even worse since it not only heals, but also does damage and has nanoswarm.

Who tf thought this was a good idea?

Medivacs in SC2 are insanely designed. In EVERY. SINGLE. GAME. Terrans build Medivacs, because they not only heal your bio, IN COMBAT, but also allow saving units, for ex. by quick pickup when Banelings come AND, having Medivacs, allows a more advanced, drop play. The existence of Medivacs in SC2, is one of the core reasons, why almost everybody plays bio/infantry, especially that Marines are cheap and deal huge damage with +3, but are very fragile.
