Or just make a custom game in Stormgate against an AI that doesn't do too much, and just build all the buildings and units and see what they all do.
There are some build guides on youtube you can use to get your first build going efficiently so you can use it on the ladder. Tho there's tons of people on the ladder that also hardly know how to play at all so you might be in good company anyway 😅
Main thing is to have fun, so just see what works for you.
Well you got 3 races. Vanguard, which is like a terran based army but different. Infernal is somewhat zerg like and Celestial is somewhat like Protos. But i think you start by trying to find your race first that you most enjoy through custom game and i suggest putting the bot on lowest difficulty as it wont attack you and should give you plenty of time to find out how to setup a base, and learning all tier units and upgrades for each tier units, so that you get a bit of the hang on all 3 races. To easily get used to controlling the game, i would deff make use of the base grid of the game from Q to R i think. Then you can easily swap between what you want to build, what units you want and so on, just make sure you read what everything does so that you get an understanding of the basic fundamentals of the game.
To create Control Groups, hold Left Ctrl button and then select any number from 1 to 0 to create a control group also known as macro. I hope this helps you out a bit, and enjoy the Game !
You asked for a tutorial and SC2 has its campaign (which is pretty good), that's why I brought it up.
Stormgate's campaign will take a while still. It's got 6 levels so far and half of them only have micro.
Infernal host 101
https://stormgate.untapped.gg/en/learn
and i would suggest hop in their discord the even are channels for each individual race.
information is scarce otherwise
you will not find what youre looking for there is no "hey you need to play it exactly like this."
the only advices i can give you is
1) go into a costum game get familier with the units and what they do and can´t do
2) look up youtube videos of the tournaments
3) gather information on how ressources work aka worker counts on luminte, therium, creep camps < this is vital information as this depends what youre able to build and when youre able to build x amount of units.
4) just start trying things with the knowledge you gained from it.
wich will enable you to ask more specific questions and then you also will find answers to stuff you struggle with.
----
otherwise just play the game make sure youre not getting supply blocked and try to push units that are effective against your current enemies army composition
this knowledge will come over time.
-----
All in all just play around against bots for example in a costum game if you do not wanna do excesive research and you will notice rather quickly wich information you need and then you will also be able to ask more specific questions that will help you.
youre asking basicly for a step by step guide on how to exactly play infernal
this is impossible to answer as this is an RTS, games are dynamic it heavily depends on wha the enemy does and wich unit he produces.
the basics of how the game works you can find in the link i already posted
https://stormgate.untapped.gg/en/learn
if all of that does not help you
i dont understand your question.
but yeah you can start with the campagin (alltough its pay to access)
or go into costum games against bots to familiarize yourself with the game better
Secondly it is indeed absolutely possible to learn exactly how to play it. I know exactly how to play each race in SC2. And exactly how to play one civilization in AOE4,
It is not a complex question to understand. It is how to play the game. Or how to even learn how to play. Because obviously there is no tutorial. This applies to every single game ever made. Whether video game or regular game. There are rules on how to play. So what do you not comprehend about the question? If I want to know how to play chess, I would ask how to play chess. Or Monopoly which has directions. Or any PC game. It's a very clear cut question. Where is the information on how to play this game. And it is absolutely not on that useless website with completely unprofessional videos that do not teach how to play.
yeah iam not going to write a 10 page essay just to tell you each single thing about a complete race and probably i do not even know every single thing about them.
if you come from starcraft you should be able to understand the game rather quickly
unless you make this more complicated than it needs to be
but yeah go ahed and try your luck in their official discord in the infernal channel
thats usualy the place where you will get answers you may looking for.
And also ignoring the point.

i provided you with all the information you need to get started you can keep ignoring it and never advance this is on you ^^
again go into their discord infernal channel < there is no better source from people that main that race.

but if you insist on an answer on "how to play the game"
you learn by playing it
XD ok bud good luck.
