Additionally I would consider Torchlight 1 and 2 a standout success of their time.
Without going into details and intricately of the matters, I would like to say that rts is a fickle genre when it comes to market share, and the amount of momentum they have already (as mixed as it is) is still enough to have them stand out and success
not every games needs to be world changing, and this shouldn't dismissed just because it's not SC2.
Compared to that, this one attempted to start big and it's not going very well. It learned all the wrong lessons and tried to copy the aspects that should have been left forgotten and on the other hand changed stuff they should have left alone.
