unable to launch the game is the beta closed ?

The Steam Next Fest ended yesterday (like 7 hours ago) so if you're not a closed Beta tester you can no longer play.

i played for 30 hours i actually enjoyed it since we don't have a proper rts for 6 years and david kim killed sc2 and blizz war3. yea i played since the beta launched i should had subscribed waaay earlier

There won't be another open beta before the Early Access launch in summer (at least according to my information) Though there still is a closed beta going on right now and there will be at least one more closed beta before the EA launch. Though I guess since it is an EA launch and it's free2play you could consider the EA period as some kind of an open beta ...

There was a way, it was their Kickstarter campaign that ended 2 weeks ago.

I personally wanted to try out some of the "mutations" for the COOP. But I wasn't able to label my lobby so no one would join. I didn't even know about mutations until the end of the open beta because I made a post complaining that brutal was too easy and someone told me to try mutations. Still I couldn't name the lobby so no one could tell it was a coop mutation lobby and I eventually gave up.
They put too much focus on the e-sports stuff. its dead. No one likes competitive matches cause its toxic af.
