We're pre-alpha. <3
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z4lrG1QD68M
i hope you will deliver, there are other developers covering their games behind pre-alpha/alpha/beta naming and shipping them like that (BF2042, CoH3 and others)
Thats why people are skeptical, no offense though.
i think, people are disappionted (me included) because the footage you showed looked alot like a SC2 reskin and after atleast 12 years they expect more.
The question is what you have a problem with exactly. The art style itself is HOPEFULLY here to stay. And I will be very happy if this art direction they go with. The actual Fidelity of the graphics is the last thing you do before releasing the game. What is the point of spending very expensive development hours on polishing the looks of something that is going to be removed from the game before the release.
I know that the flood of "early access" games on steam warp the understanding of average consumer, but Pre-Alpha should mean that even major gameplay mechanics are not implemented yet, the quality of the Graphics is not going to be worked on for a while. Though the art style itself should be indicative of the direction it will go, though even that can change, but I hope we stay with this one
The landscape looks great to me.
But the units don't look detailed and the big battle is very confusing. Large plasma blasts cover everything.
I hope you will work on the details of the units.
Work on that siege tank model......I don't like it at all, it's like some kind of spider. The tank must look different.
Overall rating.......I'm really looking forward to it.....and I will definitely support the game as if I were buying a new game for approx. 50 - 60 euros.
There is strength in simplicity
Thanks and good luck.
Greetings from a fan from the Czech Republic.
And will wait for the beta test.
