Because of the trees? The units and their behaviour are very close to some Starcraft units. Watch the gameplay again and look out for the drops.
The gameplay yeah, its sc2 wich is a good thing
Quote: "but Stormgate is just a more cartoony reskin of Starcraft."
We already have SC2, what does Stormgate better to make me play it?
Right now i can't see a single advantage.
Nothing wrong copying a great RTS game but you have to make something better to justify the existance.
Heck even a good (and fair!) F2P game of any genre, not many out there.
ps. oh another one of those clowns, any criticism = hate.
I'm 100% on board for this.
I will agree it looks a lot closer to Warcraft with the cartoon style of graphics. But I still have pretty high hopes for the game since I love SC2 and old Blizzard games.
Starcraft 2 launched in 2010 for $60 (Terran campaign and a MP)
Then they charged $40 per expansion for the Zerg and Protoss.
It went F2P in 2017 - 7 years after making a ton of money at retail.
