How to switch pets

I had a cat and was told to befriend another animal. Thats all well and good but the items /charms are on the cat and now I have a dog. How do I get my stuff back so I can continue a quest. I can't mine any meteors without the charms. Hlep pleasw

If you bring up your inventory menu (Tab Key), you should see some disks w/ pet icons. If you drag the one with the specific pet icon to your hot bar and use it, that pet will be respawned for you to get the stuff back.

I dont have any disk icons in my inventory. thank you though. Maybe its a bug

Also trying to figure this out. If we can't swap what's the point of having a "Party" vs just storing all in the PC..?

Hey the party key is G. Craigly explains this but I'm going to add a quest for it to make it more obvious for players.
