No Controller Support

The game has no controller support. Unfortunately I won't be trying the demo or buying this game until controller support has been added to this game. The games store page doesn't mention anything about full or partial controller support. I'll add it to my wish list and check back later for updates.

You can technically use a controller. I currently am playing on my legion go. You will need to have the game in full screen mode (alt+enter).
Here are the default keyboard to controller settings:

MOVING: can be done with the right analogue stick.
CAMERA/MOUSE: can be done with the left analogue stick.
PHONE (R keyboard): "X" face button.
INVENTORY (Tab Key): Select button
INTERACTION (E keyboard): "B" face button
JUMP (Space): "A" face button

It can get a little confusing if you don't know the assigned keys and a character is telling you to "Press R to bring up phone" and you have to press X face button, but it is playable via controller.

But see, no one wants controllers "technically." i want full controller support so I can play my cozy farming sim in my comfy chair and not in gamer stance over my keyboard lol.

ive tried playing it on my steamdeck. Some controls work but its not perfect. I struggle gaming sat upright due to severe nerve damage to the spine so im hoping they bring full controller support to this game eventually.

So in full screen Mode you can use Phone like in animal crossing? Because I got problem last day with this :/

Controller support needs to be in all games. Who do you think plays these cozy games? Pro gamers with their fancy mouse and keyboards? No.

Glad to hear that. Controller support must be one of the highest priorities. As already mentioned, it's a cozy game, and playing with kbm is the exact opposite of cozy. I'm looking forward to play this game on my Steam Deck in a couple of weeks.

There’s a community layout that works great and also without, you just have to learn what buttons do what- the layouts a little weird.

We just released an official controller support update! Hoping this will be much better for everyone. There's some glitches as noted in the patch notes but the game is 99% playable with only controller now!

Thank you. I purchased the game and installed it a few days ago. I haven't played it yet though. I'm still on Critter Cove. I'll be checking it out soon. ;-)
