Serious Performance Issue
Alright, yesterday when I dled eq2, I had 0 performance issues even on high settings. Everything was buttery smooth, game never crashed, perfect stuff. Today, I've had my game's screen freeze up, black out, and even sometimes crash numerous times. It's made the game completely unplayable, and I have no idea why it's suddenly acting up like this. Can anyone give me technical advice?

turn down your graphic settings. Does it do it on any other games you play now? It maybe the sign of a graphics card going bad its how it happened to me.

Graphics were turned down to the lowest. And funnily enough, it does occassionally happen on other mmos. Specifically mmos though; not other games in general.

It may be your graphics card is starting to go bad it will get worse and worse if I am right as time goes on and you may hear a difference in the way your PC runs too. The other games aren't as heavy on the graphics because they are set MMOs change on the fly because of other players so its more intense.

I see. I'll have to take a look at it. Thanks for the advice.

another thing that use to cause the problem for me was heat back when I had an intergrated system which I quickly replaced that PC but the only way I could run mmos was to take the side off of the pc for ventilation regular games seemed to work fine. It took awhile before it started doing this and it did everything else fine. The PC I had then was a HP I am not sure what rig you are running but it could also be a heat issue it use to actually shut my computer off while I was playing. I hope it helps you find what the issue is but I don't think it is a issue with the game/s but something going on within your PC from my experience with my own PCs.
