Launcher problems, need help badly.
Alright so I've only been having this problem on this computer, I've played EQ2 on a friends desktop and a crappy laptop I no longer have but this desktop is the only one that has this problem.
Ok so I boot up the game, and it does a loading circle spin and after that it just goes to black.

I have waited multiple times to see if it would go away eventually, I've turned off my antivirus, I've re-plugged in my modem and router but none of that to any avail.
So yeah help with this would be GREATLY appreciated. Guy who gives me solution will get some tf2 shiz.
(If you guys need specs then say although I doubt that will help.)
(I have also tried using the setup from the site but same issues.)

Hmmm, that's pretty crappy. Might try to validate the game assets if you haven't tried that yet. On the launcher under the picture that occasionally scrolls there is an icon that looks like a crossed hammer and wrench. When you click on it you get some additional options including "Validate Game Assets" Once you are done you can click the icon again to make the options go away. Dunno if it will help but its worth a shot if you haven't tried it yet.

Can't get into anything on the launcher, it'll have a loading circle and after that it'll go to the black screen, I've tried doing the blue EQ2.exe in the folder but that wasn't working yesterday. (although I think that was because the site was down yesterday, not sure if it still is.)

Might try this then. Go to your installation folder (possibly C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\EverQuest 2) and rename the folder launchpad.libs to something else. Launcher should redownload that folder and that has worked for some people.

If that doesn't work try deleting the folder C:\Users\<your user name>\AppData\LocalLow\Sony Online Entertainment. Hope one of these works for ya. If not, then I'm fresh out of ideas.

Will try em both, I'll let you know if they work.

There is an option under the hammer/wrench icon called game configuration. Click it and a window appears. Under the settings tab try changing the settings. Maybe lower the resolution or start with the performace preset. Perhaps run windowed instead of full screen. I dunno at this point I'm stumped ; /

As said I cannot get into anything, as soon as I launc the game it goes immediatly into a loading circle then black screen, cannot access anything on the launcher whatsoever.

Oops, my bad. I'm out of ideas. Official support forums might give you some better luck then.

I have posted two threads there in the past with no answers.
Guess I'll send in a second report ticket >->
Close steam then open it from this folder. Worked for me.
C:\Program Files\Steam\SteamApps\common\EverQuest 2

I had this same problem but after goolging and binging for a half hour finally found solution and this worked for me

There is some bug opening this game from steam so you have to open the launcher and launch the game with steam closed.

As I said I have this problem with the direct game from the EQ2 site as well but I will try it.
