first week playing and have been enjoying every minute of it. got a pretty sweet group setup with pally, wizard, templar that crushes group content. such a blast!

Hopefully, after the buzz of EQ]['s 20th birthday celebration and latest expansion, "Scars of Destruction," fades Darkpaw will spend some money marketing and improving Anashti Sul. In the meantime, I see new [b]players[/b] almost every time I play so, it seems like, the new server is doing well despite being ignored by its parent.

I came late and got to about level 14 . Now im struggling big time to level up or find people to play with. Kind of a dead end for me.

i played Everquest 2 back in 2004-2011 it was the best online game time in my life with the most playtime in a game i had :)

I started last week after never having played everquest 2 in my entire life and am currently level 23 and still trucking a long. I work 5-6 days a week because I'm a chef and am still able to find groups at 9PM EST when I get off work.

I find it highly unlikely that all these people complaining that they can't find groups are actually in this situation.

They should make it free and offline with multiple mercs or private hosted servers..Its old tech and newer computers could self host the engine. Then i'd play it again. Its too past its prime now though.

I don't believe so, there's a lot of people paying for the sub to play origins, so they're far from gone if the product is there to support the price.

As I've always thought, if affording 15 dollars a month to play a game you enjoy is hard for you, you have higher problems to worry about.

Love this version of EQ2!!! I played way back when it was current, such a fun trip down memory lane. It’s not easy, actions seem more meaningful :)

I loved playing Origins server while I could, i just couldn't keep up with the sub for continued play, but it was amazing fun when I did play it, I just have to deal with Retail until I can sustain a sub
