Can you buy the expansion with steam wallet?

I don't have EQ2 installed through steam, i downloaded the game from official website and that's why i can't tell if the expansion is available for purchase with steam wallet.

BTW can you install the steam version and use your old EQ2 account here?

You can use the Steam version with your old EQ2 account. You can also buy membership with your Steam Wallet. However, you cannot buy the latest expansion with Steam Wallet.

Tyvm for the reply, it's a shame you can't get the expansion here cuz my mercenary is pretty much a bit useles since he can't be trained unless i get the expansion No. 13th which is not available here on steam so i must get Renewal of Ro one way or another.

I am thinking you have a daybreak account to play the game so you will need to buy the expansion through the daybreak site. https://www.everquest2.com/home

There only limited what you can buy with steam, but others are CCs, sadly.

This is so weird, is there any official statement about why daybreak won't allow steam users to buy the expansions with steam wallet? makes little sense to have a steam release without offering the most important stuff in the game that being expansions imo and well Koro already mentioned membership is available, then daybreak cash is just a premium currency for QoL items, cosmetics and maybe most important thing you can get with that currency are the character slots.

It is also a weird game too lol. It alright when you want to find something to do, esp without paying for it. For example, the merc will kill everything before you can do anything at the beginning and yes its weird cause not balance properly. Guess there are different kind of merc, some are weak and some are godly.

Ive seen this reply before, but ive yet to actually pull it off myself.
I can add DBC cash via my Steam wallet, but it ends there. Theres no option to guide other types of purchases over to my steam wallet.
Can you plz explain how to do it, and tell it like im 5 years old.
I need the "cooking-book method" if possible

I'll have to try EQ2 here someday with my current account and see if i can purchase kronos or all access membership. DBC is nice but it doesn't offer all the benefits of all access.

No sadly... i'm still using the OG version i mean outside steam, since no one was able to confirm if expansions are available to purchase with steam wallet i had to find a way to get the expansion and i did... with debit card.

Daybreak srsly needs to give steam some attention and either update the dlc available if there's any and/or let steam users buy recent expans and better yet, all access sub, if daybreak doesn't want to share 30% of each sale with steam well they could wait some months and then release the dlc here, anyways, seems like there's little incentive to play EQ2 here.

i'm using the all mighty super voodoo doll Kenny, he makes silly noises while fighting lol, maybe i'll try melee/dps merc class someday, i heard mercs are op and can do all the work for ya.
