Help Wanted. Saving key-binds and interface layouts
---Intro↓

Hello everyone! I personally would like to thank you for taking
the time to hear me out for I have a question about EverQuest 2.

Now the reason I've taken to asking everyone here is because I plan to release a guide on making the game Controller Supported (to the best of my abilities and steam's) via Steam's BPM. (big picture mode.) This process can be very cumbersome especially with older games like this one. BUT! Good news everyone! With that being said the game also offers a LOT of options in the game already to actually help with this feat. Ergo the reason why I'm here, to get help on this process.

Now I've already gone and taken the time to make the BPM support and made all the changes in-game to work with the profile. I just want to see if I can lighten my workload by saving in-game settings as a back-up for when I build it all back up from scratch to make the guide.

---Question ↓

Is there a way to find the files of the game's saved Key-binds and Interface screen location? Just so I can make a saved backup/template of the progress, I've already made so far of the in-game settings/Key-binds I've already changed myself.

I've gone poking around in the games dir, and found a .ccf file under this path: D:\Steam\steamapps\common\EverQuest 2\saved_customizations.
However I'm not sure what a .ccf file is nor how to open it. If it is the file I'm looking for.

--Closing Statement ↓

I would greatly appreciate any
feedback that may help me in this endeavor.

If by chance I may have lost you in the question somewhere, I will do my best to try to clarify.

/savehotkeys <filename>
/loadhotkeys <filename>

apart from that there are files named after your character and world in the game's root installation directory.

So that takes care of the keybinds, awesome!
But that leaves me with the GUI layout.
is there a way to save those? Or am I gonna
have to use the good'ol elbow grease and
rebuild it in game?

Found it coach! thanks!

/save_uisettings <filename>
/load_uisettings <filename>

Now comes the long process of building
this Controller guide for Xbox One Controllers.
