Need your opinions on this game
Played it for 2 hours and I am not sure what to think about it.

Can you guys tell me why I should play this over something like Anno 1800 which seems to be superior in almost every aspect and was on sale at 90% off?

The only thing I can think of this game does better than Anno is that it lets you pause while building. I wanted to give this game a chance but I really need some good advice on what's good about this game before I decide to refund it.

It's trash, honestly. Go play Anno, I'm installing it as well because of how bad this was.

For sue Maxjes knows this is trash, cause he played it already for a long, long time (and he doesn't even own the game (or gave it back).
So the game has problems (perfomance) but a unique new idea and a new gameplay.
The developer already promised, that they will work on this game for a long time to make it even better.

I like the fact that your city-building seems to have a larger goal in mind. In Anno it always seemed like you were always building the city for the sake of building a city. Sure, you have events and stuff but mostly you are confined to your own city. In Kaiserpunk you're building a city to have a foundation for expanding into a larger scale empire. And you can do so in multiple, intuitive ways. So you can focus on building the most beautiful, prosperous city in the world to have a diplomatic approach, or you can build a powerhouse of warfare that conquers the world. Or a bit of both. That's what does it for me. :) Anno is an amazing game in its own rights, but Kaiserpunk isn't "just another Anno".

Give the game a few more hours to suck you in with the grand strategy part. :)
Looks like a pass to me. 550 online.

Honestly I was very disappointed by the lack of quality from the Beta, and I can honestly say, it hasnt't gotten any better. This game went from Top of my list of interests to spend some time in, now it is off my list and I am moving on. So many suggestions from the Beta were ignored, and that tells me enough. This game was NOT ready for a full release. It needed more time in Beta or Early Access, which tells me cash grab. Sad, had big hopes.

Just play Anno

Do you only play games when enough people play them?

Is new and already 550 ppl bought it?
It's rather unpolished I'd say wait and see personally. I personally ran into a weird bug doing a naval invasion with some militia/field guns and an infantry tank unit. but somehow on the first phase after about 40% it froze, nothing was happening I first thought I accidently paused it but nope nothing I did unfroze it.

This isn't some tripple A title y'know neither an MP game so the amount of players means nothing.

Maybe your more of a city builder then a grand strategy play. Wrong genre?
At that price Anno 1800 is worth experiencing no matter how you feel about this game.
Uninstalled this game and asking for a refund within 5 minutes of playing it. Not gonna get into my reason here, can look at my review.

I have thousands of hours in EU4 CK3 HOI4 so I like both genres a lot.

It just seems like this game think big but failed at execution. The city building part isn't as good as similar games and the grand strategy part is very barebone ngl.

I didn't experience any crash in the 2 hours that I played but the weird stuttering is also annoying. Already refunded thanks for everyone's input hope to see you in another game.
