I personally detach both axis, as up/down forward/backward is not symmetrical for me (maybe because of my camera position?).
What I do when I want to set a position like that is adopt the position and then move the mapping to the point I want the camera to go. After that I tweak the curve so the movement is smooth.
I'm not at my computer right now but I can share screenshots or the profile later if you want me to.
That would be great if you can share both when you can thanks a lot!

In this image you can see both my Y and Z axes while looking closer at the MFDs. They are not in the right position because I needed to look at the keyboard to take the screenshot 😅
And here is the code on my profile for this game.
If you want to try this directly my advice is to create a new .ini file where you have your profiles stored and re-calibrate/change the options to your preference.
Please, note few things:
- I don't use AITrack, but the opentrack's built-in neuralnet tracker (should be very similar).
- The camera is below my monitor, so looking slightly upwards. So you will probably need to re-calibrate for yours.
- If the in-game camera doesn't go low or close enough for you, make the "max output" distance on the axis bigger. I have it at 75cm.
- There was another thing I wanted to say, but forgot it. 😅😅
HGDEX already has official TrackIR support and it works just fine. :)
