Mansion gate

I just purchased the mansion and I am unable to enter it because the gate wont open. How do i open the gate?

It works by entering the trigger zone. If you're too close at the time and already inside the trigger zone, you may have to back up and pull forward again.

make sure you are at the right one, i went to the wrong one. there are 2 very close to eachother

I only have 1 at my mansion. I do not see a 2nd gate. I looked on youtube and everyone is driving up to the same gate that I am.

They meant make sure you're actually driving up to the correct mansion.

So to explain it, when you're on Shore Drive, there are two driveways close together. If you're coming from Cutler it'll be the first driveway. If you're coming from downtown, it'll be the second one. I'm not referring to all driveways, just the two that appear close together. There are I believe three big mansions there, so you might be approaching the wrong one.

To know you're at the correct one, you can also drive your vehicle near the fence line and look over, you should be close enough to the door from this position to see an icon appear on the door.

That was it, I was at the wrong mansion. I didnt notice the other 2.
