"Bad Future" glitch

I have no idea why but for some reason, even though I've collected all the time stones, I keep going into the bad future every 3rd level. Does anyone know what's causing this?

I think the Time Stones only affect the ending.

No, the time stones should make every 3rd act a good future. The glitch hasn't been happening until recently and I've played the original and gamecube version. If you have all the time zones, every 3rd act should be a good future.

I know how to fix it. The same thing happened to me, but only in Wacky Workbench. It was kind of painful for me to do this, but I deleted all my files and started over as Sonic. You can't have Tails for your first file

no that is a glitch i had it on a saved file it somehow if you complete the level registers it as good future i read on a site

It's because u didn't destroy the Robotacizers in the Past stages 1 & 2.

Same here! Even though I have all Time Stones I'm checking every robot generator and destroy every metal Sonic holograms, since I'm going for the "Saviour of the Planet" achievement - but still bad future in Wacky Workbench 3.
I didn't complete the game yet, so this somehow can't be caused by a Tails savegame...
Hope this wont effect the achievement I am going for.

Now I've beaten the game - got all Time Stones, destroyed every robot generators (or checked if they are already done) and destroyed every metal Sonic holograms...
Result: a bad future in Wacky Workbench 3, (good future in Stardust Speedway 3) and a bad future in Metallic Madness 3. Good ending but no "Saviour of the Planet" achievement...

Try validating your files, uninstalling and reinstalling, ect.

This sounds like a problem with corrupted save data

I think this a wired error in the code, but if you destroy all the robot teleporter, or get all the time stones, this dosn't effect the Good Ending. Yet it effects the Saviour of the Planet achievement.

It turns out the Savor of the Planet advcement requres that you manlly destroy the robot transporter. Other wise you just get the Good ending.
So if your geting Savor of the Planet, don't get the time stones.

The good/bad futures for the zone 3 stages don't work as they should with the time stones. You can simply destroy the robot generators and all the zone 3 good futures will appear as they should, as long as you're not collecting the time stones. The only way to ensure a good future in ALL the zone 3 stages AND collect the time stones is to destroy all the robot teleporters until you have the all time stones. ALSO you must collect the final time stone in a zone 2 stage or it will mess up the metallic madness zone 3 future.

No, I got my last Time Stone in an act 1 and still got the act 3 good future. What triggers the act 3 bad future is going to the past and on-screening the destroyed generators when you have the Time Stones, I figured this out during my playthrough when I destroyed all Metal holograms as well as messing around with debug.

Um ok, but did you get the Metallic Madness zone 3 good future as well? Because that is where the biggest problem lies in my experience.

Yeah I got that one too, I just didn't go to the past there because there's no Metal Sonic holograms in Metallic Madness.

Hmm strange. I swear I did the same thing but it didn't work... what zone did you get the last time stone in? I got mine in Quartz Quadrant zone 1 and I'm pretty sure I never went to the past with all the time stones yet I still got a Metallic Madness zone 3 bad future.
