Save file location
Does anyone have any idea where the save file for sonic cd is located? I'm having a hard time finding it. It's not in documents or the game folder's location. At least it's not something I can recognize. Help would be much appreciated.

Hmm thank you. Is this the only place where saves are stored? I'm using to seeing saves stored in my documents or in the game directory, but I understand. Thank you for your assistance.

I already suspected that :(

Does the game crash? Try to delete the "setup.dat" file and start the config tool again (it should ask you if you want to start that when launching it through the steam library.

Reminds me, i already excluded that file so that shouldn't be the problem. You can ask the guy from the comment section of my guide how he fixed it (he never told me) and maybe write it here.

BTW, are you sure you put it in the correct place?

Did you put the 200940 file there or the Sdata.bin file?
Looks like the other guy didn't actually solve his problem, he just got his game running again.

Oh, in the 200940 file from the download there already is the "local" where the save game is.
That was suppose to make it easier to install but i guess it just made it harder.
If i understood correct then you need to delete the file you added (the "200940" inside of C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\userdata\213934599\200940\local) and then put the Sdata.bin file inside C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\userdata\213934599\200940\local .
I hope that works.
