But I do agree that people spitting on CD and Colors out of nowhere is uncalled for.
It's crazy when you think more about it, people are now trying to defend (and even praise) games such as 2006 or Unleashed despite them having more flaws than the other.
Even if CD's time travel mechanic is kinda janky and the level design isn't the best from the classics (outside of Knuckles' Chaotix) at least it doesn't force you to play as another character with different objectives just to see the ending.
I still think it's really good, though. Probably my least favourite of the 16 bit classics, but I still enjoy my time with it for the most part. Certainly a lot better than Knuckles' Chaotix on the 32X and most of the 8-bit Sonic games.
