Game stops responding when I try to go up to the Palaton

Whenever I interact with the flying boat thing, there's just a black screen. Task Manager reports the game's RAM usage just keeps going up if I leave it running. Restarting and trying again doesn't work. Any tips on how to fix it? I'm verifying the integrity of the files now.

OS: Windows 11
GPU: RTX 3070
CPU: Ryzen 5600x
RAM: 32 GB
Game is installed on an m.2 SSD. Settings are such that everything is under the "budget" limit.

I somehow fixed it, but I'm not sure what did it. I increased the textures to Ultra and disabled FSR 3's frame generation. That's it. Hopefully this will help someone else who is having the same problem.
