crashes on launch

like the title, it crashes when I hit launch game.

"An Unreal process has crashed: UE-P3"

Does anyone else have this issue? If not, I will do some tinkering and report back.

edit: I had to turn my efficient cores (ecores) back on in my BIOS. This is only going to be a relevant fix if you've previously gone in and disabled the ecores in BIOS yourself.

I have the same issue and don't know what to do. I was able to play for like 3 hours with Win 8 compatibility mode but now after i updated my nvidia driver i can't do even that ....

ah thank you. I forgot to check for drivers today. I'll update my nvidia drivers and report back.

nah i didn't disble them and i have pretty much the same system as you. Had same issues with Remnant 2 btw, was only to play in compatibility mode. It's fking frustrating...

Just installed this to discover this same issue 'P3 crash on launch' and i didn't realise this was an EA game that requires the EA app to run.

This means for me at least, my VPN must be turned off as EA app does not like it and crashes the game before launch. This happened with NFS Unbound as well as Jedi Survivor.

I am having the same problem and nothing is helping including removing drivers

i dont get a crash i just get the game freezing up when it gets to optimising, and its using 100% of my cpu when its at the a point too, just freezes and stays there until i end process, could play just fine before the patch, now i can't load at all

Yeah I have tried everything aside from moving to a different pc and still crashes. I ran the game great for many hours with not a single hickup but now its a no go.

Had one GPU crash, seems to have redeemed itself after updating drivers and reducing the power limit slightly. Now the login screen wont show however. I get the usual background without any menu...

Main menu fixed after revalidating game files, it didnt find any faults however.
