EA App is required to start the game from Steam?
There is no mention of EA App in the description of the game on the Steam page. The Dead Space Remake also did not require the EA App to be installed.

nope but I cant even properly play in a correct resolution

it requires an EA account login and link to Steam but it doesn't run the app

Nope but if you do have your Steam account linked through EA then you'll need to enter a code from either SMS or email then that's it, if not then I assume you'll still need to sign in
