Can't I skip cutscenes?

If there is no way to skip cutscenes, it's an INCREDIBLE oversight. I'm trying to get the achievement for completing the game without health upgrades. Needless to say, I die a lot at boss battles because of 1 hit KOs. And every time, I have to sit and click through minutes of cutscenes. Is there at least a mod that fixes this? Could the game be patched in the future? I feel like I spend more time in the cutscene that actually trying to kil the boss.

No, but I'm expecting it. I died a couple of times with rabid Toroko. And then it dawned on me that I'd have to go over every cutscene in every boss battle too many times. So there is no skipping cutscenes?

You can't skip cutscenes, but you can speed through the dialogue if you select "Retry" after death.

The best of luck to you in completing the game without health upgrades. The final fights are a pain in the backside.
