번역 관련 문제 보고
nxengine (and -evo, currently) doesn't fully use nor support npc.tbl, intstead it's using sprites.sif.
Moreover, many mods for original game patch the game itself (changing AI behaviour, for example, changing stage names, etc.)
I do have plans (for far future) on modding support for nxengine-evo (e.g. making AI external, written in Lua or something), but mods will have to be ported anyway.
Well, it's fanmade, so I guess it's not truly canon, but it's just like the description says: that the story takes place after the True Ending of Cave Story in which you defeat Ballos and escape with Balrog, and the writing really doesn't feel out of place. Overall, I find the gameplay is somewhat harder, especially in the beginning.
